RCONA: Going Strong Since 1997…

The Roseville Coalition of Neighborhood Associations was an idea conceived by a group of neighborhood leaders and the Roseville Police Department. In 1993, the Roseville Police Department began its community policing project, organizing three neighborhood associations--Cherry Glen, Theiles Manor, and Roseville Heights--to improve conditions of crime, traffic and other quality of life issues within those neighborhoods. The Roseville Coalition of Neighborhood Associations (RCONA) was formally established in 1997. It is modeled after the Portland Oregon Neighborhood Plan, and RCONA has received both national and international acclaim.
