Placer to host school safety forum in wake of Florida shooting

Placer County Sustainability Plan Public Workshop set for March

Join us for a discussion on how we can work together to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in a way that maximizes economic benefits from energy savings and operational costs, improves infrastructure and further benefits the county and community. Public workshops are set for March 7 in Kings Beach and March 8 in Auburn. Read more

DeWitt History Museum celebrates its grand opening

Our community got its first look at Placer's newest museum as the DeWitt History Museum in North Auburn celebrated its grand opening, Feb. 27. The museum will be open and free to the public on Wednesdays from noon to 4 p.m. It is located at 2985 Richardson Drive in North Auburn. The Purpose of RCONA

·         To raise the level of community participation by citizens for improving and maintaining the quality of life within the City of Roseville.

·         To work with neighborhood associations in resolving social, physical and economic problems within a neighborhood, and deal with other important neighborhood issues.

·         To facilitate communications within and between neighborhoods.

·         To provide instruction and support to neighborhood association leader.

·         To pursue funds from all sources for use in the community and neighborhoods.

·         Revitalize inactive neighborhoods.

·         Organize the residents, property owners, organizations and businesses within each area into a neighborhood association.

·         Bring all neighborhoods together in a coalition of associations.
