Ordinance Amendment Related to Accessory Dwelling Units


NOTICE is hereby given that on May 16, 2018 at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, the City Council of the City of Roseville will hold a Public Hearing at the City Council Chambers located at 311 Vernon Street, Roseville, CA for the purpose of considering an application for an ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS RELATED TO ACCESSORY DWELLING UNITS - CITY'IV/DE - FILE# PL 18-0095.

Request: This item requests approval of Ordinance Amendments and revisions to the City's Accessory Dwelling Units Fee Policy to address changes in State Law related to Accessory Dwelling Units {formerly referred to as Second Dwelling Units). The Ordinance Amendments include changes to Title 14 (Public Utilities) and Title 19 (Zoning) of the Roseville Municipal Code. The proposed changes will bring the City into compliance with State Law.

ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: Consistent with California Environmental Quality Act ( CEQA) Guidelines Section 15282(h) and pursuant to Public Resources Code Section 21080.17, adoption of ordinances regarding accessory dwelling units are considered exempt.

If you challenge the decision in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the Public Hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City Clerk at, or prior to the Public-Hearing.
